• Yves Lansac
  • Adjunct Professsor

Yves Lansac is Maître de Conférences in the Department of Physics, University François Rabelais. His research interests are directed towards developing and applying molecular modeling methods and macroscopic continuum models to investigate the emergence of selforganization in various soft matter systems, such as liquid crystals, polymers, colloids and polyelectrolytes. He is also exploring the behavior of disordered elastic systems, especially the static and dynamic properties of vortex lattices in type II superconductors using molecular dynamics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Nice, followed by postdoctoral stays at the University of Colorado at Boulder, at the University of Bologna and at Caltech.
